The Byappanahalli police continued investigation into the assault case of wing commander and questioning the eye witnesses to record their statement.
The case was intensified after the counter case was filed by the accused vikas kumar accusing him of assaulting him before filing a case and posting a video on social media to gives colorful twist to the incident.
The police gathered CCTV footage about the incident and found that it was Shiladitya Bose who assaulted Vikas Kumar and later feinged victim.
The police gathered cctv footage and also collecting recordings of mobile clips from many people who intervened and tried to pacify him.
Based on his complaint,the Byappanahalli police charged Mr.Bose under Sections 109 (attempt to murder),115(2) (voluntarily causing hurt),304 (snatching for theft),324 (crime of mischief),352 (intentional insult with an intent to provoke breach of peace), for further investigation.
Soon after the incident went viral it took different color as Bose accused Vikas Kumar of attacking him for being non Kannadiga .
Chief Minister Siddaramah took cognizance and assured necessary action .
The help started pouring in for Vikas Kumar from different corners .
On Wednesday,Deputy Chief Minister,DK Shivakumar, spoke to Vikas Kumar,who was allegedly attacked by a wing commander recently in east Bengaluru and assured him of justice in the incident.
“Don’t worry,the government will ensure that you get justice in this incident,”Shivakumar told Kumar on a phone call.
Even,Nikhil kumarswamy JDS leader and ally of BJP condemn the incident and extended support to vikas kumar assuring that he will extend all possible support to ensure justice to him.
Wing Commander Shiladitya Bose to gain sympathy and support,shared a selfie video showing blood dripping from his forehead and had claimed that Kumar had assaulted him.Police took a complaint from Bose’s wife and arrested Kumar.
In a counter complaint, Kumar who was arrested by police earlier,stated,that Bose had trashed him and threw his phone and bike keys away.
CCTV footage from the spot also showed Bose knocking down Kumar and kicking him relentlessly.
Byappanahalli police have booked Bose for attempted murder and summoned him for questioning .
The police are yet to question Shiladitya,s wife also IAF officer,who was driving the car and was present at the time of incident .
