The Bengaluru Traffic Police have booked 668 motorists for driving drunk during a special drive carried out across the city in the last one week .
According to an official release,as many as 43253 vehicles have been checked.
The police have also booked 185 motorists who were found over speeding and slapped a fine of Rs.1,89,000.
The special drive aimed to curb the menace of drunken driving and over speeding to ensure road safety in Bangalore City.This drive will continue further,MN, Anucheth,Joint Commissioner of Police,Traffic,said .
