he CCB Anti-Narcotics team arrested a Nigerian national and recovered MDMA crystals worth Rs.4 Crore from him.
The accused identified as Henry Chukwuemeka come to the city on business visa four years ago and overstayed even after expiry of his travel documents.
The accused stayed in a rented accommodation in Banaswadi and sourced the drugs through courier .
The drugs according to the police he would get it in ladies handbags concealed under the specially designed layers.
The accused had rented the neighbouring house too and would get the delivery to the neighbouring address, a senior officer,said .
Based on a tip off,a team of police kept a watch on the accused and trapped him red handed.He was taken into custody to ascertain his network and booked under NDPS and Foreigners Act for staying illegally after visa got expired a detailed investigation is on said B Dayananda commissioner of police.
