The Rajarajeshwarinagar police on Monday arrested a 33-year-old habitual offender involved in four house break thefts soon after he was released on bail .
The accused Ganesh Ramakrishnachari,resident of Jalahalli involved in 16 cases and was arrested by Puttenahalli police few months ago in one of the case.
After coming out on bail,he continued to break into the house to steal valuables.
Senior officer told reporters,the accused worked as plumber and carpenter,aware of breaking the doors and locks using different tools.
He would identify the locked houses watch them for few days before committing the theft .
Using similar modus Operandi, the accused committed the theft in a house situated in BEML Layout in RR Nagar and escaped with 400 grams of gold valuables.
Based on the complaint,the police verified several CCTV footage before zeroing in on Ganesh from a hotel in Channasandra where he was having lunch.
With his arrest the police have cracked four house break thefts reported in RR Nagar,Subramanyapura, Chandra Layout and Annapoorneshwarinagar police station limits.
The police have recovered 210 grams of gold valuables and over one kilos of silver articles total worth ₹ 13.5 lakh .
