Four including wife of Daily wage labourer booked for attempt to murder and was saved in nick of time by alert Kolar Rural Police

The Kolar Rural police saved a 35-year-old daily wage labourer in the nick of time who had sustained multiple injuries in a bloody attack and bleeding trying to stop vehicle for help on the NH 75 in the wee hours of Sunday.

The victim identified as Nagesh Erappa resident of Vanarashi village was lured by his wife’s uncle offering liquor and attacked with lethal weapon and fled the scene leaving his in a pool of blood assuming that he is dead.

Nagesh managed to recover and reached the national highway near Chunchadenahalli gate and tried to stop vehicles passing by for help.However vehicle did not stop thinking that it was a trap and sped away.

Meanwhile Kolar rural station Police Sub Inspector V. Bharati who was on night patrolling duty noticed Nagesh and rushed him to a near-by hospital for treatment,where he is being treated in ICU and presently out of danger.

The incident was reported to Superintendent of Police M. Narayana who ordered a detailed probe.

A team of police led by M.Sadananda and his team swung into action and gathered detailed from Nagesh before registering a case of murder against Ashwini, wife of Nagesh,her mother,Maheshwarappa,brother Narayanaswamy and his son Ramesh.

According to the police,Nagesh was married to Ashwini 8 years ago and the couple had a child.Though it was a love marriage Nagesh started torturing Ashwini and even assaulted her following which a case of attempt to murder was booked against him.

Ashwini moved with her child to her mother’s house and the trail of the case was near ending where Nagesh is likely to get convicted.

Realizing this Nagesh continue to harass Ashwini and patch up with him so that he could get away from conviction.

Unable to bear harassment Ashwini sought the help of her maternal uncle who roped in his son to eliminate Nagesh .

The police are now on the lookout for the accused who are on the run.Mr.Narayana appreciated the police team for saving the man’s life and cracking the case .
