Today, Visakhapatnam: ‘Government is ready to provide adequate support if you come up with good ideas to invest in the state. If we set up industries in capital Amaravati, we will allot places. Everyone’s cooperation is needed to make Amaravati a wonderful city. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu assured that we will provide better concessions to industrialists in the process of rebuilding this state. On Thursday, the CM participated virtually from the Medtech zone of Anakapalli district in the meeting of CII (Confederation of Indian Industry) National Council members. ‘Welfare schemes should be poverty alleviating. Everyone should work together for this. After the economic reforms of the past, we are now adopting the P4 model (Public, Private, People’s Partnership). For this we will implement micro, medium and long term plans. Let’s think how to build a country without poverty,’ said Chandrababu.

Even if it causes political damage

“In the past, when I was CM, the reforms brought in the power sector caused good things for the country even though it was politically damaged. We have established a regulatory commission for the first time in the country. We have brought flight facility from Hyderabad to Dubai through open sky policy in joint AP. For the first time, we have launched a greenfield airport in Hyderabad,” said Chandrababu.

Focus on global employment opportunities

Those who depend on agriculture are facing a lot of difficulties. Advanced farming techniques and drone technology have not reached them. At present my focus is on the development of agriculture sector. If the investors are interested, we are ready to work together,” explained Chandrababu. We are ready to provide the necessary skills to the youth of the state by focusing on employment opportunities around the world through skill assessment. There are opportunities in automobile, hardware manufacturing, pharma, agri processing in the state. In the future, we will undertake electricity generation projects through hydrogen’, he said.

CII conference in Visakhapatnam this year

‘If a fintech hub was set up in Visakhapatnam, it has lost its name during Vaikapa’s regime. Now let’s make Visakhapatnam a fintech hub like London and Singapore. We are all ready to work together if we come to the state with new ideas. Let’s meet again this year in Visakhapatnam. Let’s hold the CII conference here,’ said Chandrababu. The CII University to be built in Amaravati has moved to Mumbai due to the previous government’s policies, CII representatives requested Chandrababu to provide support to build the university center in Amaravati and he promised that if the second university is established in Amaravati, the necessary space will be allocated. Set up your corporate headquarters in Amaravati. The state government will take the responsibility of providing land for that. Chandrababu said that Amaravati will become a hub for science, finance and public policy creation
