he Sadashivanagar police on Sunday arrested a domestic help,gardener and a security guard who had burgled the apartment of their employer and made away with Rs.30 lakh worth valuables .
The accused according to the police are native of Bihar and hired a month ago for different work.The owner of the house in July this year had gone to Ooty with family and had handed over the keys of his flat to the accused to perform their given tasks .
Making use of the opportunity,the trio burgled the house by breaking open the cupboards and lockers using machette and hammers and made away with the valuables including gold and silver articles,expensive metal idols,silk sarees,electronic gadgets and wrist watches and escaped.
Based on the complaint the police track down the accused to their native Darbhanga district in Bihar where the accused got down at the bus stand along with the booty to go home and was arrested and brought to the city with the booty intact.
Appreciating the police work,city police commissioner , B. Dayananda,announced cash reward of Rs.25,000 to whole team.
