Techie committed suicide in Hotel by inhaling helium gas probe on

22-year-old employee of Wipro,identified as Yagnik from Sakleshpur district,ended his life by inhaling helium gas.

The incident occurred at the Royal Inn Hotel in Neeladri Nagar, Electronic City.

Yagnik,who had been staying at the hotel since August 16,took his own life by using helium gas, a method chosen for its perceived painless effect.

He brought a gas cylinder to his room,wrapped his body in a bulky cover,and used a pipe to inhale the gas.This method leads to immediate loss of consciousness and death due to lack of oxygen.

The incident came to light when hotel staff on suspicion that there were no response from his room as he had to check out today,went and later forced open the door to find him lying dead.

The Electronic City police rushed to the spot and shifted the body.Yagnik was staying in the hotel room to attend his M tech exam he had bought can of helium from a shop in peenya.the police are checking with his family members to ascertain the cause of his extreme step .

DCP Southeast Sarah Fathima,said that the victim used a plastic pipe to inhale gas.The police suspect that he had googled to find out easiest ways to end his life and it was planned as he went to buy cylinder from a shop in Peenya and suspected to be ended his life at the time of checking out of the hotel.

Though police suspect that depression could be the reason behind his extreme step,we are awaiting family members and analysing his call record details to ascertain exact reason for his extreme step.
