he Doddaballapur rural police on Monday arrested a 30-year-old labourer who stabbed his mother to death over an illicit affair .
The accused Gangaraju,had a tatto Amma on his chest told the police that he found his mother in a compromising position with a man and in a fit of rage stabbed her to death.
He later escaped and moving around suspiciously when the alert beat police caught him questioning him.A detailed probe led him to confess to the murder a senior officer told reporters.
The deceased Rathnamma,wife of Venkatesh also a labourer was very fond of his son and even tattoed his name on her right hand.
Probe revealed that Venkatesh died in an accident two years ago and Rathnamma was into relationship with another man .
The incident occurred when Gangaraju came home in the middle of the work and found Rathnamma was in a compromising position.Enraged accused stabbed his mother killing her on the spot .
Gangaraju also told the police that Ratnamma was not allowing him to marry and forced him to break up with a girl whom he liked .
