Bengaluru Shocker:Woman murdered and body cut into 30 pieces,found stacked in fridge in Vyalikaval

n a shocking incident a 29- year-old woman was brutally hacked to death and her body parts cut into around 30 pieces found in the fridge at the house she was living in Vinayaka Nagar in Vyyalikaval on Saturday.

As soon as the incident was reported Addl CP West, Satheesh Kumar along with DCP Central Shekhar HT with other officers and staff along with FSL and dog squad with finger print experts rushed to spot and after inspecting the spot and collecting details from relative.

Senior officer said that the deceased has been identified as Mahalakshmi,29,from Nelamangala was living alone and had a man visit often to pick and drop her,a senior officer said.

He further said that the murder came to light when neighbour complaining foul smell emanating from the locked house and managed to get the contact number of Mahalaxmi family and Informed.

The family members came home opend the door to find the body parts cut into pieces and kept in the fridge like vegetables.

We suspect that the murder could have been taken place a fortnight ago as the flesh was highly decomposed and worms were found in them.

He further said after examining all details, The SOCO and FSL team who are analysing the scene of crime recovered her mobile phone which according to the police was switched off on September 2.

Going by the decomposed body parts and the electronic evidence availed from the scene of crime It is suspected that she was murdered and body parts chopped at the house before it was stuffed in the fridge.

Mahalakshmi hailed from Nepal and married Hukum Singh however she was staying alone in a rented house and not communicating much with the neighbours.

Sunil,brother of Mahalakshmi working at a shop in Koramangala said that mahalakshmi was not in touch with him for many days.I was informed by one of the relatives and came to see her.We have not spoken and met for many days,he told the media.

A woman from neighbourhood said that mahalakshmi had moved into the first floor of the building five months ago.She would hardly stay at home or talk as she would leave home by 9.30 am and return only after 10.30 pm.

A person used to stay with her for few days and claimed to be her brother.We did not even know that she is married , the neighbour told the media persons.

Based on the complaint the Vyyalikaval police have registered a case of murder and formed special teams under the leadership of DCP Central, Shekhar HT and efforts are on to track down the man who used to visit her often he added.
