41-year-old man bludgeoned his wife and her male friend to death after catching them red handed and later ended life at an under construction house in Konanakunte police station limits on thursday.
The accused and deceased has been identified as Pulusu Golla Babu.The accused and his wife Pulusu Lakshmi,33 and Ganesh Kumar,20,were from Andhra Pradesh and working as daily wage labourers at an under construction house in Someshwara Layout .
The couple were living in the same site for few months and they had no children.
The accused had suspected his wife Lakshmi and Ganesh having an affair and caught them red handed on Thursday .
Enraged Golla Babu attacked the duo with a wooden log and bludgeoned them to death in the early hours and called his sister to inform her about the murder and told her that he is dejected and ending life before cutting the call.
Worried sister alerted others who rushed to the site and found the duo lying dead in a pool of blood and found golla Babu hanging in the other floor of the site .
“As of now,the motive appears to be the suspicion of the affair by the deceased husband,Lokesh B Jagalasar, Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) said.
The Konanakunte police have registered a case of murder and suicide for further investigations .
