Israel-Hezbollah: Israel targets Hezbollah secret bunker. They said that they have information that there are millions of dollars in cash and gold in it.

It is known that Hezbollah in Lebanon has recently warned that they will launch retaliatory attacks against Israel in the wake of the killing of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar . With this, the IDF, which is ready for a fiercer fight, has targeted Hezbollah’s financial sources this time. In this order, they recently made a sensational announcement that they have identified a secret bunker belonging to this militant group. They said that they have information that there are huge piles of currency notes and gold in this secret tunnel under a hospital.To this extent, Israel Defense Force (IDF) spokesman Daniel Hagari disclosed in a televised speech. “We are conducting successive attacks on Hezbollah’s financial sources. We destroyed a bunker in the attacks on Sunday night. We found millions of dollars in cash and gold in it. This money is being used to attack Israel. And, this militant group has another secret bunker in the heart of Beirut. Hundreds of millions of dollars and piles of gold are known to be in the bunker under Al-Sahel Hospital. We haven’t attacked it yet,” Hagari revealed.
Hagari said that according to the information they have, it is estimated that there are 500 million dollars in cash (about Rs. 4,200 crores in Indian currency) and heaps of gold in that bunker. It is suspected that this bunker was used by Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah during times of emergency. A map of the bunker area was also shown on this occasion. They said that they have focused on this area. However, they made it clear once again that their war is only with Hezbollah and not with Lebanese citizens. They said that they will not attack the hospital in the area where the bunker is located. It seems that the authorities are evacuating the hospital in the wake of these developments.
It is known that the IDF has already announced that people who are close to the areas that are financially supported by Hezbollah terrorist activities should leave immediately. Israel is targeting branches of ‘Al Qard Al Hassan’ across Lebanon. ‘Al Qard Al Hassan’ is an unlicensed grey-market bank. Acting as a major source of funding for Hezbollah. It has around 30 branches across Lebanon. It is worth noting that half of this is in Beirut’s most congested areas and residential areas.
