Mangalagiri: ‘Amaravati Drone Summit-2024’ has started. It was launched by Chief Minister Chandrababu at the CK convention in Mangalagiri. It will be held nationally for two days. The conference will include nine panel discussions, display of drones at 50 stalls, unveiling of the state’s draft drone policy document, etc. The government hopes that this conference will be the first step to make the state the number one in the country in the field of drones. Union Civil Aviation Minister Rammohan Naidu attended the event. The conference is being organized in collaboration with Department of Civil Aviation, DFI and CII.

The number of passengers in flights is increasing,” he said. He said that he is ready to meet the growing use of drones.. Young entrepreneurs are asked to take advantage of this opportunity.

As part of this summit, a demonstration of 5,500 drones will be held on the banks of the Krishna on Tuesday evening. The program will be held from 6.30 pm to 8 pm. It is going to be the biggest drone show in the country. The drones fly in the air at a height of about half a kilometer and reveal seven shapes.

The CM praised that Indians are very capable in IT and knowledge economy. He said that after becoming the CM for the first time in 1995, he worked for the development of the IT sector in Hyderabad. He remembered that he went to America and met representatives of many organizations for 15 days. He said that Hyderabad is the best city in the country in terms of livability. He said that 30 percent of our country’s IT professionals abroad are Telugu.

“The real wealth now is data. That is the key for the country and the company in the future. Integrating AI with data can create wonders. Recently, we used drones to provide food and drinking water during the floods in Vijayawada. They play a vital role in agriculture and infrastructure sector. Can be used for traffic control in cities. There are going to be big changes in the medical field in the future. Patients can stay at home and receive treatment. Some countries are using drones in wars. We use it for development. It will be used to maintain law and order. We will try to use it widely in the police department. We will monitor the movements of rowdy sheeters with drones and check them,” said Chandrababu.
