: India (IND vs NZ) suffered a defeat in the first test against New Zealand. The batters who raised their hands in the first innings.. fought in the second innings. But, only one player failed miserably and faced criticism. Now he has put his place in the team in jeopardy. But the management supported him. So you doubt who that player is. Senior player KL Rahul. He was subjected to extreme trolling on social media. With Sarfraz Khan scoring a century, there are comments that it will be difficult for KL to have a chance in the next Tests. India’s head coach Gautam Gambhir made key comments in the event.

“There is no need to ignore social media. That is not what will decide the final team. The key is what the team management and leadership think. KL Rahul plays very well. He played a good innings against Bangladesh on the Kanpur wicket. Although some struggled in the first innings, Rahul scored a half century. So, we know what he is capable of. It is believed that he will score huge runs. Therefore, we are supporting him. We will keep an eye on everyone,” said Gambhir. Gambhir made it clear that Rishabh Pant is fine and that he will keep in the second Test on Thursday.

Responding to the defeat..

“Winning in sports is natural. Sometimes in cricket the opponent comes together. Indian fans enjoyed it in Kanpur. Everyone knows what happened in Bangalore. Earlier, Bengaluru did not demonstrate the style of playing in just two-and-a-half days. The head coach said that the situation would have been different even if he had played like that.

KL Rahul working hard

It is known that the Indian players have already reached Pune for the second Test. The match will start from Thursday. KL Rahul, who failed in the first test, is working hard. Sarfaraz Khan was absent from the practice session. With the birth of his son, his availability for the second Test is doubtful. In this sequence, it seems certain that KL will get a chance in the final team. With this, KL faced the pace attack in the presence of bowling coach Morney Morkel.
