Today, Amaravati: Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan said that the members of the YS family, who blocked the father’s authority and grabbed land from the farmers in the name of Saraswati industry, are now clamoring for the property. He directed the officials to conduct a full investigation on the Saraswati Power lands and give him a comprehensive report. On Tuesday, he inspected the Saraswati lands in Vemavaram of Machavaram mandal of Palnadu district and then spoke to the media. First, Gurjala MLA Yarapatineni Srinivasa Rao, Collector P. Arun Babu, SP Kanchi Srinivasa Rao and forest officials met and discussed Saraswati lands. In Vemavaram, the lands were inspected from the car. Saw the drone footage. Assigned lands occupied
Jagan took 700 acres for the Saraswati Power Plant in Machavaram and Dhagepalli mandals while his father was the CM. Lands were taken from farmers saying that they would give jobs to the local youth. From the total farmers, there are 1,384 acres, patta lands 1,083.7 acres, dotted lands 77 acres and assigned lands 24 acres. Dalits were intimidated and their assigned lands were seized. Patta lands were also threatened and raided and seized. The raw material required for the cement factory is available in these lands. Jagan’s eye fell on these.
Convert forest lands into revenue lands.
400 acres of forest lands were converted into revenue lands and taken away. A thorough investigation should be conducted. In 2009, it was leased for 30 years and after Jagan became the Chief Minister, it was written for 50 years. Environmental clearances were not taken for the cement factory. Knowing that permission will not be given to the cement company, they changed the name to electricity company and made allocations.
196 crore liters of water for the unbuilt factory
If there is no drinking water in the state, 196 crore liters have been allocated from the Krishna river for the unbuilt cement factory. There should be a full inquiry into this. I will also mention it in the cabinet. 86% of Saraswati lands belong to Jagan and his family members. No industry has come here so far.
