Three among Engineering Student and Gold Shop staff killed in road accident in two different incidents

Two persons including a 22-year-old engineering student was killed when a speeding car knocked them down while they were negotiating a curve at Kammanahalli cross in Hulimavu in the wee hours of Monday.

The deceased have been identified as Sahad,native of Kannur in Kerala and his friend Rishi,21,working in a private firm.

The duo residing in Bande Mallasandra in Jigani were riding the bike when the speeding car knocked them down and sped away.

Passers-by noticed the duo lying in pool of blood and rushed them to hospital where the doctor declared them as brought dead.

The Hulimavu traffic police reached the spot and verified the CCTV and identify the killer car for further investigation.

In another incident,a 23-year-old staff of a gold shop was killed in a self accident on BGS flyover near Car grounds in the early hours of Monday.

The deceased has been identified as Prithbi Bhuniya, native of West Bengal,working at a gold shop in market and residing in Azad Nagar.

Senior officer said,the deceased was under the influence of alcohol riding his scooter in rash and negligent manner,lost balance and crashed into the median,Due to impact he was thrown up and collided with a electric pole and killed on the spot .

Due to the impact the helmet he was wearing was shattered into pieces.The Chamarajpet traffic police rushed to the spot and shifted the body to Victoria hospital for further investigation.
