ontinuing investigation into MLA Munirathna case,the special investigation team officials on Thursday arrested Hebbagodi inspector Ayyanna Reddy on the charges of abetting alleged honey trap.
Reddy who was served in many stations across the city is presently serving in Hebbagodi and said to be close to Munirathna .
Following a complaint by woman accusing Munirathna for raping her and using her for honey trap,the Kaggalipura police in the month of September this year arrested Munirathna .
The case was transferred to SIT for a detailed probe after the allegations were against many people including serving inspector.
Reddy was also said to be part of the racket and helped Munirathna in all possible ways.
Reddy was taken into custody after subjecting him to medical examination for further investigation.
