Aerospace student commits suicide by jumping from college building in Bengaluru

A 7th semester engineering student ended his life by jumping from the 5th floor of the college building in Basavanagudi on Saturday.

The deceased Akarsh Reddy, 21,was living with his parents in Anekal and was commuting to college everyday.

The incident occurred at around 4.45 pm when Akarsh after attending the internal exam went to the fifth floor and jumped.

The security found his body in a pool of blood and alerted the management before rushing him to the s to his mother from his mobile phone citing the reason for his extreme step.

The deceased also removed the watch and a kadaga he was wearing along with the mobile phone sent a message to his sister asking her to keep his belonging as memory’.

The police said that the reason for the suicide is family problem and further probing.

The police also spoke to his friends and lecturers to rule out any foul play.
