Women today are redefining their careers by breaking stereotypes and pushing their boundaries to carve out a niche by starting their own business through specialized skillsets.The “Inspring Women Award 2020”copowered by Uprise India,and Rajniti Ki Pathshala, was presented this year to noted Indian Jewelry designer,Vineeta Bindal on the occasion of Women’s Day on 7th March’2020 at India Internatiional Center,New Delhi,in an effort to salute her entrepreneurial spirit and inspire women at large.
Ms.Bindal was honored due to her specialized technique in designing Indian jewelry ,taking into account the ethnic and western elements using a clever play of colored Indian gemstones on silver. Her designs are increasingly becoming popular in the international market. Ms.Bindal,a gemologist was invited to Artigiano Artisans Fair in Milan,Italy to present her collection. She also showcased her jewelry collection at India Fashion Week in London England late last year.
“I’m trying to take Indian Jewelry to a global platform so that it has a global appeal,and I’m grateful that my work is being recognized and appreciated”,says the budding designer,Vineeta Bindal.
She runs an exhibition- and web-based jewelry boutique, Haute India (www.facebook.com/Haute.India) Her designs have been worn by Bollywood stars.
