Red Fort, Qutb Minar and Humayun’s Tomb get illuminated in a special way in respect of Corona Warriors

Archaeological Survey of India‘s Delhi circle expressed gratitude for Corona Warriors by illuminating historical sites  like Red Fort, Qutb Minar &Humayun’s Tomb  in a special way on the  occasion of World Heritage Day  in New Delhi. Along with this ASI Delhi circle also administered oath to school students through video conferencing to safeguard and respect the monuments and their heritage.

In this Video Conference children of CSHP Public School, Pratap Vihar, Ghaziabad and ASPAM Scottish School Noida along with their teachers has taken oath. Total 60 teachers and 247 school students took oath. Students of class 9th, 10th and 11th of CSHP Public School, Pratap Vihar, Ghaziabad and students of Class 1A and 1 B of ASPAM Scottish School Noida have taken onlineoath.

To express  the gratitude towards corona warriors for their selfless services to the humankind, in the evening ASI  Delhi circle illuminated all the three monuments  in a special way. At Red Fort, the candles (Diyas) were arranged in the shape of India’s map with a massage ‘Hum Jitenge’.At Qutb Minar. candles (Diyas) were arranged in the shape of house with a massage ‘Saty Home, Stay Safe’.

At Humayun’s Tomb, 41 candles were lighted in addition to the general illumination. This symbolized our fight against CORONA outbreak for which 41 days of lockdown is being observed.
