The Anti-Narcotics wing of CCB on Monday arrested two African national and recovered Rs 10 lakh worth cocaine and MDMA tablets from them.
The accused has been identified as,Kwane John Ghanajam,32 from Ghana and Antony Obalim,43 from Nigeria were caught from a house in Ramamurthynagar red handed.
Senior officer told media persons,as our war on drug peddlers is continued our Anti-Narcotics Wing CCB ACP,Gautham kumar received a credible information that two African National are selling drugs in Ramamurthynagar from their house.
Based on tip-off a team of officials rushed to the spot and the team covered the area and were keeping a close watch on the building in which they were staying when some person entered to the house our team caught them red handed while supplying drugs to their clients.
The team conducted a search at their house and seized Cocaine and MDMA tablets Worth Rs.10 lakhs from their possession.
During investigation the accused confessed the crime and it was revealed that the accused had come to city on business visa on the pretext of selling readymade garments but was actually peddling drugs to make easy money are now cooling their heels in jail.A case under NDPS Act has been registered against the duo and further investigating to ascertain their network.
Finally Bengaluru Police Commissioner,Kamal Pant has appreciated Joint CP Crime,Sandeep Patil,DCP Crime-1,KP RavikumarACP, CCB Anti-Narcotics Wing, Gautam Kumar,and his whole team who has nabbed the two Nigerian drug peddlers and recovered Synthetic Drugs worth Rs.10 lakhs for the commendable job done by them a suitable reward will be given to the whole team he added.
