Raksha Group women celebrates Raksha Bandhan with Chickpet Traffic Police

Chickpet Traffic Police were in for a pleasant surprise when members of Raksha group,city based NGO walked into the station and tied Rakhis to the police staff.They also offered sweets to the staff .

The initiative to celebrate Raksha Bandhan with Khaki as Chickpet traffic police was organised by the Leader of the Raksha group,Jain Babita Srisrimal and her group members visited the Chickpet traffic police station and tied rakhi to whole staff and staffs were surprised.

Smt.Babitha Jain Srisrimal told media persons that they were happy to celebrate Raksha Bandhan with the police who are the real protectors of the society.

She even said that the Raksha group was voluntarily feeding quarantined Covid patients during the lockdown for over one and a half months and helping them in other ways too.

The police too were supporting the group for the cause.Thus,the Raksha Bandhan marked another way to celebrate this collaboration to our group as we celebrated the Raksha Bandhan with Khaki a pride moment and memorable day it will be for us said Ms Srisrimal.

Senior officers thanked the City Based NGO and wishes the citizens and NGO members a Happy Raksha Bandhan to all .
