Rave party raided by Anekal police around 37 people arrested,9 cars&17 bikes seized

The Anekal police raided a (rave) party organised in illegally in a private resort situated at the outskirts of the city and arrested 37 persons including college students,IT professionals and businessmen,on Saturday night .

Senior officer said,Based on a tip off,a team of police conducted the raid and seized a huge amount of liquor bottles,some bottles containing chemical mixed water along with the music equipment from the spot.Police have also seized 17 bikes.

While many people part of the party escape and take shelter in the near-by fields.The police arrested 36 persons who were intoxicated and unable to escape during the raid.

The incident came to light when a few villagers passing by noticed the blaring music in the middle of the night and scores of people in cars moving into the resort.

The accused have been booked under various sections of Excise act,Karnataka Disaster Management act and also under KP Act,a police officer,said .

The accused have been subjected for the medical examination to ascertain whether they were under the influence of drugs.

An initial probe revealed that one Abhilaksh

is the organiser of the party who communicates with the invitees and guests online to share info on the details of the party and fee.

The detailed entry code he would share with the guests on their whatsapp and share the location. The party includes DJ and item numbers along with the liquor and food on the card.

DJ Party raid has been conducted by PSI Anekal and staff secured total 37 persons and 9 cars and 15 two wheelers and DJ set ,lights and Beer bottles have been seized,all accused arrested, taken blood and urine samples for further investigation and produced before magistrate for further remand”,Additional SP,Lakshmi Ganesh,told reporters.
