The Vidhana soudha police is probing the Sedam MLA blackmail case and questioned few persons in this connection on Sunday.
Rajkumar Patil Telkur was allegedly blackmailed by a woman accusing him of having affair with her and later cheated.
She also claimed that she has got a child out of the affair and wrote on the CM social media account seeking justice .
Following the news spread on the social media, Telkur approached the police and filed a complaint with the Vidhana Soudha police.
Speaking to the media he said accused involved in political conspiracy behind this to scuttle his political growth.
The woman who has been accused of blackmailing Sedam MLA and being probed by Vidhana Soudha police has approached city police commissioner alleging harassment from the police.
Speaking to the media she said that Telkur is childhood friend and and he even promised to take care of his son.
If he is accusing now of blackmailing me let him confront me and swear on his family god,she challenged.
She further claimed that Telkur and his wife had met her in hotel Shangrila few days ago and he promised to take care of his son.
If the police are investigating the case let them access the CCTV footage, she said .
Accusing the Vidhana Soudha police harassment, she said that a team of police barged into her apartment on Sunday morning and took her to the station for enquiry.
I was held up at the station from morning to 9 pm at night.I have left children back at the apartment without attention and care for the entire day.
The police have also took away my mobile phone and a police personnel beat up security guard who came to question the police,she said.
Even now a group of policemen deployed outside my apartment to keep a watch on me.Is this not a harassment,she questioned.
Advocate Jagadish Kumar,who accompanied the victim said that the police action amount to trespass,illegal detention and harassment.
If they have a case against her,let them arrest her,but this is clear harassment,he,said.The woman said that she would fight the case legally to get justice to her son.
