The HSR Layout police on Thursday arrested six persons including two women garment factory employees who forced a 15-year-old girl into prostitution after luring her with decent job .
The accused has been identified as, Rajeshwari,Kalavathy, Krishnamurthy,Sharath, Rafiq and Sathya.
The victim a 9th standard student is from lower middle class and joined as helper at a garment factory to support her family after school few days ago where the accused Rajeshwari and Kalavathy were working.
The duo who are also running a prostitution racket befriended the girl and lured her into decent job with good pay.
Last month Rajeshwari and Kalavathy took the victim to the latter’s house in HSR layout where the accused Krishnamuthy,Satya,Sharath and Rafiq were waiting.
The four sexually assaulted her repeatedly and warned her not to reveal.
This was going on for days until the victim on Wednesday complained of severe stomach ache and upon questioning by her parents narrated her ordeal .
Shocked by this the parents took her to the doctor for treatment and later went to Bandepalya police where they were sent to HSR Layout police station citing jurisdictional problem.
Based on the complaint,the HSR layout police swung into action and arrested six persons charging them under various sections of POCSO act and remanded them to judicial custody on Thursday said a senior officer.
