The Criminal Investigation Department on Tuesday issued summoned to a 50 selected candidates to appear before the Investigating officer on Wednesday along with the hall ticket and carbon copy of the OMR for questioning.
(The OMR sheet (candidate sheet) was given to the candidates soon after the written exam for future reference .
Summons has been issued to list of 50 candidates to present themselves before the IO at the CID headquarters,where the officials will probe them and rule their involvement based on questioning and comparing the carbon copies of the OMR sheets with the evaluated OMR sheets.
While another team of CID officials camped in Kalaburgi to look for the prime accused who are linked to the ruling party.
The CID officials said that so far seven persons including one of the selected candidate and son of a police constable arrested in the scam and efforts are on to track down others.
The accused including the three exam supervisors helped the candidates to mark few answers on OMR Sheet and the rest of the sheet left blank which was later filled up by the accused after submission of the papers .
The officials also found that the multi level irregularities have taken place and even the CCTV installed at the exam halls was switched off .
