ours after the arrest,the state government issued suspension order of ADGP, Amrit Paul and Former DC Urban J Manjunath on Monday night.
Paul is the first ADGP rank officer arrested first time in the history of the state police.
IAS J Manjunath also has been suspended after a first arrest by ACB karnataka after it started functioning.
The order stated that DGP CID has reported to the government about Paul involvement in the scam following which he has been arrested.
Similar order stated that ADGP ACB has reported to the government about J Manjunath involvement in the trap case conducted by ACB in urban DC office following which he has been arrested.
The order said that Paul and J Manjunath is entitled for subsistence allowance in accordance with the rule 4 of the All India service rules.
The order also stated that Paul and J Manjunath should not leave the headquarters under any circumstances without the written permission of the government said the order.
