Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Saturday termed Pay CM campaign by the Congress Party as ‘dirty politics’.
Talking to reporters here,he said if they have any issue, let them come and talk directly, produce documents and then demand an inquiry.
But they come to the House without any issues and proper homework. This shows the sharp decline in the values of Congress leaders.
What they were doing was nothing but tarnishing names without having any morality.
The Congress Party is in illusion of coming to power without having any concern for the people but by doing dirty politics.
This will not happen in Karnataka as the government will take legal action against it.
When his reaction sought to Health Minister Dr.K.Sudhakar’s statement that the CM was being targeted since he belonged to lingayat community,Bommai said he was not a party to that statement and would not comment.
BJP to come back to power.
Asked about a pre-poll survey giving 95 to100 seats in the 2023 Assembly polls, the CM said every survey will come out with different numbers.
I know the pulse of people more than anybody else.I have been in politics for almost 35 years and I am confident that BJP will come back to power next year”.
He said a decision regarding the Cabinet expansion will be done after getting the nod from the high command.
On raids on PFI offices and office-bearers in the State, the CM said both NIA and Karnataka Police have taken suitable action regarding PFI’s activities in the State.
