festive mood prevailed at the residence of Hirala Kollarappa in Ambedkar Nagar in Kamalapura village.
His two daughters,Huligemma and Renuka were busy in the kitchen since morning preparing a special breakfast for none other than ‘Common Man’ Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Wednesday.
For the VVIP,Kollarappa family had prepared Kesaribath,Mandakki Voggarane,Mirchi and Uppitu.
The convoy of the CM arrived at the door step of Kollarappa in Ambedkar Colony from which Bommai,former CM BS.Yediyurappa,Water Resources Minister,Govind Karjol and Tourism Minister Anand Singh enjoyed the breakfast.
The CM and other guests chatted with the family members.Bommai felt happy when he was informed that Kollarappa’s granddaughter Ashwini Tadkar is studying at Government Engineering College.The CM enquired with Ashwini regarding education and the college atmosphere.
When she told the college it was fine but the mess bill was exorbitant,Bommai promised to address it.After having breakfast and tea,the VVIP left for the function.
