Bandepalya Police station launch feedback form initiative to self acess and improve efficiency.This is probably first time in the country such initiative was tried and tested & Won hearts of Citizens

P eople visiting Bandepalya station situated in south east division of the city have different experience as they are not only treated and heard but also given a feed back form which according to the police will help to improve their standard of service .

The initiative probably the first time in the country launched by Inspector,Rajesh LY,in February this year and team would help to redress their issue and resolve the problems of the people without delay and to help them in all possible way.

Many people who would come to the station have lots of apprehensions.Through this initiative the person who register the form will not only direct them to concerned officer to handle the issue without delay.

The feedback form is also having details of waiting time taken to meet the officer,name of the officer the visitor met,what kind of treatment he had received,time taken to resolve the issue,whether the visitor was asked bribe and so on.

The form also asked the visitor to rate the officer he met in the scale of 1 to 5 and comment on the experience of his visit mentioning the name of the officer and rank.

The feed back form would then be analyzed by the station house officer to take steps to improvise and reward the officials suitably .

People who visited the station have put it up on social media which is going viral.

Raghavendra HS,part of the city based NGO,said , “ I was surprised when I visited the Bandepalya police station 2 raise a complaint. Feedback was collected from me in a form. Its interesting & helps to prevent the corruption & build trust in police.Nice initiative by Inspector Rajesh LY & Team.Probably this is first of kind in india.This helps for a quick response and prevent undue delays.I strongly suggest such method to be adopted in all government offices which helps public at large”.

Another twitter use identified as Bhavani Bhuvi said “A great initiative by bandepalya police station Taking up a case so fast resolving it quickly never seen before. It’s one of a kind sir.This helps for a quick response and prevent undue delays.”

Really proud of this first of the kind police friendly initiative by Inspector Rajesh LY said Manju Vikas Mehra on her twitter handle who is a senior traffic warden too.

A police officer at the station said that Police personnel do not come out of Vacuum.We are a reflection of the society.BCP’s motto is “We serve, We protect”and this initiative is from the first part of motto “We serve”.

CK Baba, DCP, south east,division,initiative which is doing a pilot project is going to be extended to other stations in the division to improve the quality of the service.
