The Koramangala police on Saturday arrested a 20-year-old Mechanic for stealing 18 TV sets worth Rs.3 lakh.
The police also recovered motorcycle which the accused have stolen to be used to commit the theft.
Senior officer told reporters the accused using the stolen motorcycle would move around to identify the locked houses and steal valuables.
The accused targeted a function hall in Koramangala which was not being used and did not have security guard.
The duo ventured into the hall and stole all the TVs which were kept for display.
The accused had sold the stolen TVs to their relatives and friends which have been recovered by the police .
The duo has been taken into custody to ascertain their possible involvement of other cases .
