Train services have been introduced to Kempegowda International Airport Railway Station (KIAD) to help Air travelers to reach Airport easily, quickly,and conveniently.
Apart from Airport commuters,these services will benefit the employees working in the Airport and the people residing in the surrounding areas of the Airport.
Following MEMU/DEMU trains are operated with stoppages at KIAD Station: –
1. Train No.06531 KSR Bengaluru–Devanahalli Express passing KIAD @ 06:10.
2. Train No 06532 Devanahalli–KSR Bengaluru Express passing KIAD @ 19:59.
3. Train No 06533 Devanahalli –Yelahanka Express passing KIAD @ 06:39.
4. Train No.06534 Yelahanka –KIAD Express reaching KIAD @ 08:05.
5. Train No.06535 Devanahalli – Bengaluru Cantonment Express passing KIAD @ 08:56.
6. Train No.06536 Bengaluru Cantonment – Devanahalli Express passing KIAD @ 13:20.

Regarding train services to KIAD Halt station, Shyam Singh,Divisional Railway Manager, Bengaluru Division has informed that:The punctual running of these services is accorded the highest priority.Recently,there were instances of little delay in services to KIAD Halt Station due to ongoing safety-related works between Yelahanka and Devanahalli.
Within a short period of 3 weeks,these works are targeted for completion which will improve punctuality to a great extent.
• The timings of the MEMU and DEMU services to the Airport as well as stoppages can also be obtained from National Train Enquiry System (NTES) website.
• The proposal for the re-opening of Dodjala Halt Station and stoppage of all Airport train services at Dodjala and Bettahalasoor is under consideration and will be finalized soon.
• The ticket fare is just Rs.30/- for a trip which is considerably cheap compared to other modes of transport.
Trains to KIAD Station provide an economical and efficient mode of transport to business commuters and is environment friendly as it supports the Railways’ initiative in reducing the carbon footprint. Passengers are requested to make full use of these train services.
• An increase in frequency as well as the extension of train services to the Airport will be explored based on the patronage of existing train services in the coming days.
