According to Union Law Minister Kiran Rijiju, there are 10 pending cases in Andhra Pradesh High Court and 15 in Telangana since before 1979.
2,40,569 cases in AP High Court.. 2,36,549 cases in Telangana
Today, Delhi: Union Law Minister Kiran Rijiju said that there are 15 pending cases in Andhra Pradesh High Court and 15 in Telangana since before 1979. The Union Minister gave a written reply to the questions asked by MPs Adala Prabhakar Reddy, Revanth Reddy and Kotha Prabhakar Reddy. The minister revealed that by 2022, 69,768 cases are pending in the Supreme Court, 2,40,569 cases in the Andhra Pradesh High Court and 2,36,549 cases in the Telangana High Court. As on September 30, 2002, 8,27,790 cases were pending in District and Subordinate Courts of Andhra Pradesh and 8,22,658 cases were pending in District and Subordinate Courts of Telangana.
* Minister of State for Defense Ajay Bhatt said that Rs.57 thousand crores have been paid for the pensions of soldiers and military families from 2014 till now under the single rank-one pension scheme. An average of Rs.7,123 crores has been paid per year. The Union Minister gave a written reply to the question asked by MPs Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, Kanumuru Raghurama Krishnaraju and Manne Srinivas Reddy.
* There are 72,706 ex-servicemen in Andhra Pradesh, 30,657 in Telangana and 26,70,920 ex-servicemen across the country, out of which 44,904 are working in various departments under the quota of ex-servicemen, said Minister of State for Defense Ajay Bhatt. The Union Minister gave a written reply to the question asked by Srikakulam MP Rammohan Naidu.
* As part of e-Lok Adalats, 22,733 cases have been investigated in AP and 15,714 cases have been investigated and 11,270 cases have been resolved in Telangana from 13,337 cases till date, said Union Law Minister Kiran Rijiju. The Union Minister gave a written reply to MP Margani Bharat’s question. The minister mentioned that there are 9 permanent Lok Adalats working in AP and 6 in Telangana.
