A 38-year-old man stabbed his sister turned mother-in-law to death over a domestic row in Bridanvan layout in Kengeri on Friday evening.
The deceased has been identified as Elilarasi from Marikoppam in KGF while her brother turned so-in-law Diwakar,is now on the run.
Senior officer with FSL team rushed to spot and after inspecting the spot he said, that Elilarasi has married off her daughter with her younger brother Diwakar and the couple had a minor daughter.
The couple used to have frequent fight over domestic row and unable to bear harassment she returned to her mother with the daughter and stayed .
Unable to bear the separation from Family Diwakar went to get back his family and returned with his daughter and stayed in his relatives house in Brindavan Layout.
Elilarasi who got to know about her grand daughter missing traced the address and went along with her another daughter and husband to get back the child.
She confronted Diwakar and demanded to handover the grand daughter to her. Heated argument ensued in the melee Diwakar brought a knife from kitchen and stabbed her on the neck and even injured Elilarasi daughter when she tried to rescue her mother and escaped .
The profusely bleeding Elilarasi was rushed to near-by hospital where the doctors declared her as brought dead.
The Kengeri police registered a murder case and are now on the massive manhunt for Diwakar who is now on the run.
