Irregularities in excise tender: CM Bommai ask Congress to furnish details

In response to the Congress party allegation about the alleged irregularities in the excise tender,Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said he is ready to order any inquiry provided they furnish details.

Talking to reporters after distributing benefits to people under various schemes here on Tuesday,he asked the Congress Party leaders to share information as any allegation without evidence is of no use.

Complain to Lokayukta

Replying to an audio released by Congress MLA Priyank Kharge,the CM said there were allegations against the audio,and even complaints have been made against Priyank.

The Lokayukta will inquire if the pieces of evidence were given to the anti-corruption institution.

Pay Revision to be sorted out

Bommai said he will sort out the pay revision issue by talking to the 7th Pay Commission and officials.The government employees are people.Already,the Commission has been constituted.

The employees demand to seek the interim report and implement recommendations.The commission is in touch with the government and it has been requested to give an interim report immediately.

The matter has been clarified in the House and the recommendations have to be implemented only after forming the Pay Commission.
