Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said the state government is quite clear in the BJP Chennagiri MLA Maadal Virupakshappa’s son Prashanth Maadal’s case and has given the freehand for the Lokayukta to probe this matter no matter who is involved in this case.Law is doing its work and the culprits will be punished.
Reacting to the opposition parties that the CM must resign,Bommai told reporters at the Murugha Mutt helipad here on Saturday that the opposition parties don’t have any work.
In the previous Congress Government, a minister had accepted Rs 2 lakh bribe in Vidhana Soudha.Did the then Chief Minister Siddaramaiah resign?
If the Lokayukta existed then, the minister would have been arrested. But they weakened the anti-corruption institution to hush up such cases.
Fighting corruption apolitical
The CM said the Maadal case is being investigated impartially and curbing the corruption apolitically.
The Congress Party that closed 59 cases cannot wash its sins and such cases will come to the fore again. The Congress Party is fully drenched in corruption and to wash its sins it was seeking his resignation.
Let them see how many donkeys have fallen on their plate.Going by this, they should have tendered their resignation many times.
Petty politics by Congress
Commenting on the Congress stated that the governments of murderers must be removed, Bommai said the maximum number of murders took place during the Siddaramaiah Government in the name of caste and religion.
What moral standard do they have after the withdrawal of cases filed against the PFI and SDPI? The Congress Party has done politics at the pettiest level.
The CM said the high command will decide on the action against the Chennagiri MLA Maadal Virupakshappa.
