T he Adi Banajiga community is very dedicated to their profession but their children must become intelligent by getting a good education. The march of the community must be towards development, said Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai.
Speaking after being felicitated by the community people for including them in the 2D category here on Thursday, the CM said when he comes to Hubballi,he feels as if a daughter has come to her parent’s house.
His father, the late S.R.Bommai had a good relationship with the city and people. He remembers everything because of which he was emotional today.
Only talking about social justice many communities were kept away from the mainstream. They were seen as the vote bank and not as the citizens.
They had developed the habit of keeping these communities for five years after the election. It was a tragedy that these communities were denied reservation.
Bommai said there are certain legal formalities for the quota distribution. This power was given by the prime minister in 2016.
In the last 15 to 20 years, they were only giving the applications but with no subsequent action After he came to power one and a half years, the commission reports sought and studied them.
Accordingly, the reservation had been distributed.Time is required if any major decision had to be taken at the government level.
Educate the community girl children as they are more intelligent and honest than us.The institutions are permanent and not the individuals.
Along with the construction of educational institutions the banking institutions must have been done long ago.
Though delayed, this has happened during my tenure”.
former CM, Jagadish Shettar, Ministers Shankar Patil Munenkoppa, Shashikala Jolle, MLA Arvind Bellad, former MLA Seema Masuti, and others were present.
