City police commissioner B.Dayanand suspended two inspectors for implicating a doctor in an NDPS case in 2022.
While one inspector filed an FIR against the doctor and later transferred the other officer who replaced him filed the chargesheet against the doctor.
Based on a complaint,an inquiry was ordered to conduct an inquiry and asked the DCP West division to probe and submit the report..
The probe confirmed the duo violated the rules to implicate the doctor.
Based on the report Bengaluru City Police Commissioner B Dayanand suspended Manjunath Jnanabharathi Police Inspector and the then police inspector Laxman Nayak who is now serving as Devanahalli Traffic police inspector and further investigation is on.
