Sullurpet: The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) on Friday launched its most prestigious Chandrayaan-3 (Chandrayaan 3) mission to explore Zabili. At 2.35 pm this afternoon, the LVM-3 M4 rocket blasted off from the second launch pad of SHAR in Sriharikota, Tirupati district. Chandrayaan-3 carrying lander, rover and propulsion module was launched to Jabilli on this highly powerful rocket.
This rocket will successfully launch Chandrayaan-3 (Chandrayaan 3) into a 170X 36,500 km elliptical orbit around the Earth. It revolves around the earth for 24 days. After that, increasing its orbit gradually, it reaches the orbit traveling towards the moon. After several processes, it is finally launched into an orbit around the moon at an altitude of 100 km. ISRO revealed that the module with the lander and rover will separate from the propulsion module on August 23 or 24 and land near the south pole of the moon at about 70 degrees south latitude.
