Bengaluru District Administration in a special drive against encroachment recovered 3.10 acres of government land worth Rs.4.05 Crores

Officials of the Bengaluru district administration on Saturday carried out a special drive against encroachment and recovered 3.10 acres of government land comprising of lakes,tanks,Grazing land,graveyards and even storm water drains total worth Rs.4.05 crore .

Armed with the survey conducted by the officials to identified the encroached land,special teams led by Deputy Commissioner of Police KA,Dayananda has been formed who were dispatched to carry out anti encroachment drive in five taluks .

While a total of 1.13 acres of encroached land covering lakes,tanks and other water bodies in and around the city has been recovered.

The rest of the land was recovered from Yelahanka, Bengaluru south,Bengaluru North and Anekal taluk,the official released, said .

The drive will continue to identify the encroached land and legal action will be initiated against those who found encroached the government land, the official , said .
