The High grounds police on Sunday arrested two people and recovered 80 batteries which were stolen from traffic signals in and around the city worth five lakh from them.
Based on the theft complaint,the high grounds police track down the accused identified as Saif Pasha and Salman Khan from Banashankari after verifying over 120 CCTV footage and track them down.
The accused would move around in bikes to identify the batteries and steal them since the last three months.
The stolen batteries the accused would sell to the junk shop and share the money.
