Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said that Nehru-Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi were the builders of modern India of science and technology and social justice is retained only because of Congress.
He was addressing the party-men after inaugurating the 139th Congress Foundation Day celebrations organized by KPCC at Bharat Jodo Hall.
On the threshold of independence India had thousands of problems. Congress came as a solution to all those problems.
There are still many problems. Congress has to come back to power to solve these problems.Congress comes to power through struggle.
After the Bharat Jodo,Rahul Gandhi has embarked on another round of padayatra.Rahul Gandhi will lead the country.He expressed hope that he will become the Prime Minister.
It was Mahatma Gandhi who pioneered the path to freedom through satyagraha in the world.He defeated the British through non-violence and became a martyr for bringing freedom to the country.
We got our freedom with the sacrifice of millions of people.He explained that the freedom movement took place under the leadership of the Congress.
Not a single person from BJP,Jana Sangh,RSS and Sangh Parivar fought against the British.RSS was born during the British era.
But they did not participate even for a single day in the struggle against the British.Therefore, people should be convinced by understanding the doggedness of BJP, he said.
Hindu is different – Hinduism is different.Let us worship Rama,build a Ram Mandir in our village, sing Rama’s bhajans.The CM quipped that BJP’s is fake Hindutva.
