he Magadi Road police arrested a habitual offender who used to visit marriages and function halls as guests and steal valuables.
The accused identified as Nikhil has been arrested earlier for similar case and after coming out on bail he continued his old habits.
The accused using similar modus operandi visited a marriage function and escaped after stealing gold valuables.
Based on the complaint the police analysed CCTV footage and tracked down the accused recovered valuables worth Rs.1.8 lakh .
The accused has been taken into custody to ascertain his possible involvement in other criminal cases said a senior officer.
