Big political development in Karnataka before the parliamentary polls: Bommai

Dr.Thomas (Special Correspondent)

A big political development will take place in Karnataka before the Lok Sabha polls, predicted former CM Basavaraj Bommai.

Talking to reporters following reports of former CM Jagadish Shettar’s return to the party here on Thursday, he said Shettar had taken a right decision at the right time.

Shettar didn’t join the Congress Party out of love but because of unhappiness in the saffron party.I have seen him from close from the days of Jan Sangh and his DNA does not match with the Congress Party.

Shettar may be in the Congress party but his heart is still in the BJP. He understood the mentality of the Congress Party only after joining that party. His coming back to the BJP will benefit both the party and himself”.

The BJP leader said it was only the beginning as there would be Ghar Vapsi of not only the BJP leaders but also important Congress leaders. The Congress party would divide into factions.

No one can blackmail Shettar. But KPCC President D.K.Shivakunar had been doing the blackmail politics since from the beginning.

The former CM said Prime Minister Narendra Modi always believed in the theory of Nation first and not left or right learning.

The country’s development had been his top priority and that had become the political ideology. The BJP did not belong to any caste or community.

Modi has leadership quality and for that reason Shettar was returning to the BJP.I will campaign for the candidates who are given tickets to contest in the coming Lok Sabha polls. All of us will work hard to make Modi as the PM for the third consecutive time”.
