Tension gripped in Ramanagar town as advocate group stages a protest demanding suspension of Sub Inspector Tanveer Hussain of Ijoor station over an FIR filed against 40 advocates.
The police had earlier arrested advocate Chand Pasha following a complaint over his derogatory post targeting a Varanasi judge,which led to clash between two factions of advocates last week.
While Chand Pasha was arrested,the police also filed an FIR against a group of 40 advocates based on counter complaint.
Angered by this the advocate group stages a protest demanding quashing of FIR against the advocates and also suspension of PSI,Tanveer Hussain .
The protestors lay seize DC office demanding action accusing that the district administration is buckling under pressure from DK Shivakumar and MLA Iqbal Hussain.
The protest was supported by opposition leaders HD kumaraswamy and R Ashok Demanding government to take immediate action or face the consequences.
The protesting advocates had even lay seize DC office and locked the gates while carrying out the night long protest .
Security has been stepped up to monitor law and order problem.
